This is the best sushi restaurant where you can taste amazing sushi! I love Japanese sushi, and the eel sushi here was delicious. I think it was my first time trying tuna tataki sushi in New Zealand, and it was great. The fresh salmon sushi was also very fresh. The owner and staff were all kind, so I had a very pleasant meal. There's a park just across the street, so I enjoyed a nice walk after eating. I will definitely visit again next time~

We had a couple of boxes to take with us on our hiking trip. The salmon, both fresh and torched, was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. The fried shrimp was also large and tasty! The best part for us was the rice. We’re not sure what kind of rice they used, but it was perfectly cooked and still tasted great even after being refrigerated for a while. We had salmon sushi elsewhere last week, but this was much better. We arrived a bit early, and although the staff looked pretty busy with preparations, they were very helpful. We’re so glad we found this little gem! It seemed like they also had many vegetarian options, and we’d love to try some fresh veggie rolls next time!

I really like all sushi at the Sushi shop. Becuase the rice in sushi was so soft and nice, which was quite different from other Sushi shop. It seems to be original rice for sushi. Most of sushi shop has changed their rice to reduce cost. All sushi were so fresh and delicious. Also very neat and clean in shop. I will definitely go and have some sushi again.

I placed a large order for our rugby league team for their lunches whilst we were in Palmy for a tournament. The order was ready on time, and was delicious. The owner had even added an extra pack in the order labelled 'for the coach'. Much appreciated. Would definitely use these guys again and highly recommend.

We have been coming to this sushi shop since I moved into Palmerston North 2016. They are super friendly and when we stoped coming as often because I was pregnant they noticed! They even noticed I got a haircut! Their sushi is just perfect. Enough rice too. I always get the salmon ones and they are always fresh and well cut. We have tried their delivery too and always satisfied with their promptness and extra touch. Once they rounded up our sushi order and we got an extra chicken teriyaki for my son.

This place and staff are so amazing! I went in today to order lunch for me and some family back at home so I usually order A LOT! I had been paid last night at around 10pm so I expected the money to be in my account by then.much to my confusion it wasn't there. The staff were amazing when dealing with me they allowed me to come back later and pay which I was sooooo grateful for, the money then popped into my account 30 minutes later so I rushed down to pay. I would like to say a huge thank you to the workers for entrusting me enough that they allowed me to pay later! You guys are awesome! Highly recommend this sushi shop, they are so kind and friendly! Oh and so understanding!!!
